Hudson Valley Tango

Argentine Tango is a romantic, expressive partner dance from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Hudson Valley Tango began in 1999 in the gazebo in Cold Spring Park with a small group of dedicated Tangueros, Art & Gillian Day, Rob Clark and Walter & MariLynne Kane. With the help of invited tango masters, it has evolved into a source of tango enjoyment and education, hosting classes and social events, to foster the expansion of tango dancing in the region, and to develop an appreciation of the culture from which it derives. This website posts announcements of tango events in the Hudson Valley. If you have questions or suggestions, feel free to contact Walter & MariLynne Kane .

Since its inception in 1999, Hudson Valley Tango has provided the regional tango community with regular classes and milongas.
